OKELEKE Malechi Opeyemi

Opeyemi Onyemalechi Okeleke presently works as the Curator, Web Repository Officer and Researcher at GCI Museum; and also serves on the Executive Board of GCIOBA-Ibadan Branch as the Assistant Secretary.

Born on the 13th of April, 1991 to the family of Mr. Paul Okeleke (now of blessed memory) and Mrs. Eunice Modupe Okeleke, he was bred and buttered in the ancient city of Ibadan. He had his primary education at Omoniyi Nursery and Primary School, Bembo Games Village, Apata, Ibadan between 1994 and 1999, and later crossed to Saint Michael African Primary School, Apata, Ibadan where he sat for his First School Leaving Certificate Examination in the year 2000.

He attended the prestigious Government College Ibadan for his Secondary Education between 2000 and 2006. At GCI, he was a Junior Engineering and Technician Students' Club Member, Cadet Force Member, Swanston House Boy and later became the Assistant Labour Prefect of the School in 2005.

In November 30, 2008, he proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile - Ife for a Degree programme in the Department of Microbiology, Malechi graduated from the great citadel of learning in March, 2013. He had his National Youth Service at Kano between March 2014 and February 2015, after which he joined the Banking Institution (precisely, First City Monument Bank, Agbeni Branch, Ibadan) as an Assistant Relationship Manager in the Business Banking Group on a one year contractual agreement between July 2015 and June 2016.

He's an unhooked, smart-working, caring, God-loving, tall, dark and handsome dude. He is a Rotaractor, and a proud fan of Arsenal Football Club.
