In order to provide a 21st Century education for the students of Government College Ibadan, and also expand their accessibility to the educational texts and materials, the Class of 1978 of Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association has resuscitated the Information and Communication Centre of their Alma Mater.

The Set in the month of August, 2018 equipped the 35-user ICT Centre with government approved and up-to-date electronic texts for both junior and secondary students of the school. The desktop computers were installed with the electronic copy of textbooks and past questions in tandem with the syllabus for the next academic session.

It would be recalled that the GCI ICT Centre was donated by Shell Nigeria Exploration & Production Company Limited (SNEPCo) in January, 2011.
